Job Title: CNC Machinist - First Shift
Job Description
Join a leading precision metal fabrication company that serves industries such as Aerospace, Medical, Appliance, Defense Contracting, and Architectural. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts for various clients, ensuring compliance with dimensional and visual standards.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and run repeat and production jobs within quality and efficiency expectations on CNC machinery.
+ Conduct routine and preventative maintenance at the machine.
+ Work off of blueprints and interpret data from Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and manual measurements.
+ Make necessary adjustments to machining processes to achieve compliance.
+ Edit programs directly at the machine as needed.
+ Handle production runs ranging from 10 to 200 parts.
+ Lift up to 25 pounds regularly; use mechanical lifts for heavier items.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with Mazak machinery and other CNC equipment.
+ Ability to set up and run CNC Mill or Lathe for at least 5 years.
+ Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.
+ Capability to perform program editing and setup on 3 and 4 Axis Machines.
+ Experience with multiple setups and program editing on 5-axis machines.
+ Understanding of G&M code for program editing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with blueprint reading.
+ No technical degree is required, but it would be advantageous.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled, clean shop with approximately 100 colleagues. The first shift runs Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Optional overtime is available, with potential to work 5-10 additional hours depending on shift and order volume. Safety gear including steel toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection are required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

Bonus structure below. If it's under $500, it gets paid at 60 days. Anything over gets paid at 6 months and a year.
