14938BRDepartment Name:HSP Senior Adult Strategy Location:Meriter Hospital Job Description: The Clinical Research Nurse is a registered professional nurse who, together with the Site Coordinator, ensures timely recruitment and enrollment of patients and family members into the ENHANCE clinical trial. The Clinical Research Nurse will play the important role of trainer and monitor of the interventions for both arms of the clinical trial.

This position will have functional supervision by the UnityPoint Health -Meriter Hospital HELP Supervisor and works under the general guidance of the core research team.

This is a part-time (approximately 10 hours/week or 25% FTE), term-limited position, funded through PCORI (Patient Centered Outcomes Research Initiative) through February, 2029.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

+ One (1) year of clinical nursing experience

+ Progressive Nursing experience with demonstrated success.

+ Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin

+ Must have current CPR certification or be eligible to complete within 3 months of hire.

+ Knowledge of clinical research practices

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

+ Comfort with providing patient and family education

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Familiarity with the Hospital Elder Life Program
