CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Technical Engineer opening for our client in Wilmington, DE.

**Location:** Wilmington, DE (Hybrid remote)

**Duration:** 12 months

Overview:

+ Seeking a Senior Technical Engineer with hands-on experience supporting and maintaining Finastra’s Loan IQ platform.

+ Responsible for owning the Loan IQ technical solution, including software development, SDK integration, license/module management, upgrades, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.

+ Strong understanding of Loan Agency business processes is highly desirable.

+ Must possess strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills to work effectively with both business and technology teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Lead technical design and implementation for Loan IQ, including upgrades and module installations.

+ Serve as the subject matter expert on Loan IQ SDK and APIs.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and infrastructure issues.

+ Act as technical liaison with Finastra for support and issue resolution.

+ Manage source control using GitLab and software packaging with tools like NuGet and NPM.

+ Develop scripts using YAML, PowerShell, Bash, or Perl for automation and configuration.

+ Use monitoring tools such as Splunk and ELK Stack for log management and analysis.

+ Guide and mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation and code reviews.

Scope of Responsibilities:

+ Own and maintain the technical ecosystem supporting Loan IQ.

+ Translate user and business needs into effective technical designs and solutions.

+ Participate in infrastructure planning, performance tuning, and systems optimization.

+ Produce and maintain clear documentation according to internal standards.

+ Stay current on Financial Services trends, tools, and technologies.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

+ Not Applicable.

Education and Experience Required:

+ Minimum of 12 years combined education and/or experience in systems design, architecture, or management.

+ Deep understanding of the systems development lifecycle, infrastructure design, and ITSM.

+ Expertise in Finastra’s Loan IQ platform (modules, SDK, APIs).

+ Strong proficiency in SQL and Oracle database technologies.

+ Experience with object-oriented programming, preferably C# in .NET.

Education and Experience Preferred:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

+ 12+ years of experience in infrastructure design and technical engineering.

+ Experience with Loan Agency business operations.

+ Strong scripting, log analysis, and software packaging skills.

+ Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation abilities.

+ Proven ability to work independently and in collaborative team environments.

+ Comfortable managing multiple technical priorities in a dynamic setting.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
