Overview:

Bettendorf Community School District is seeking a dedicated, full-time Nutrition Services Supervisor to oversee operations at multiple locations. This salaried position is responsible for all aspects of food service supply chain operations and staff supervision, ensuring smooth and efficient nutrition services across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Supervise and train kitchen staff across multiple schools

+ Manage inventory, ordering, delivery, and waste management for Nutrition Services

+ Oversee and assist with deliveries, receiving, and food quality assurance

+ Ensure food safety compliance and HACCP standards

+ Evaluate staff performance and support ongoing development

+ Operate and troubleshoot kitchen and inventory software

+ Collaborate with the Nutrition & Wellness Manager to solve supply chain issues

+ Provide coverage and support in kitchen operations as needed

Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

+ ServSafe Manager Certification (required within 30 days of hire)

+ Valid driver’s license (required)

+ Previous experience in K-12 Child Nutrition preferred

+ Physical ability to lift and move food supplies and operate kitchen equipment

+ Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

+ Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules
