    Position Scope and Charter:

    We are seeking candidates for the position of Program Scheduler at the Indianapolis site. The Program Scheduler professional understands and applies material management principles that enable them to develop solutions to a variety of problems.

    Essential Tasks:

    The following is a sample of the various tasking required of the Sr Analyst, Mfg/Ops. The omission of specific responsibilities does not exclude them from the position if the tasking is comparable or logically associated to the position.

     

    + Master data creation in the form of material masters, Bills of Material, and work centers.

    + Manages and communicates MRP demand for programs.

    + Release of requisitions to Supply Chain for procurement of required material.

    + Release of work orders to the Manufacturing and/or Depot areas.

    + Collaborates with the Manufacturing and Depot Supervisors to manage factory Supply in support of achieving MRP schedules that support customer requirements.

    + Monitors material availability in support of contract requirements, works to factory priorities, identifying barriers and solutions to enable the factory to meet goals, and takes appropriate action to ensure schedule goals are achieved.

    + Coordinate activities between numerous groups and clearly communicate material status.

    + Works closely with the Manufacturing Production Controllers.

    + Perform related work as required.

    Communication Skills:

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.

    + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with various disciplines as well as effectively communicate within a teaming environment.

    Technical Skills:

    + Experience in a Depot environment is a plus.

    + Material planning and order execution experience

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    + Extremely proficient with production planning systems, specifically MRP

    + Ability to read and understand requirements detailed on drawings.

    + Understanding of the application and concepts of Production Planning including MRP (Demand/Supply) and Inventory Management

    Computer Skills:

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office with particular emphasis on Excel. Familiarity with SAP (S4 HANA) or similar Enterprise Resource Planning software.

    Security Requirements:

    + The candidate must meet the requirements necessary to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance if required.

    + Mild standing, walking, moving, sitting, and climbing stairs are part of the daily routine. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential tasks.

    Minimum Educational / Work Experience Requirements:

    + A bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Inventory Management or related field or a minimum of six years of relevant work experience in a production and/or depot repair environment.
