Position Summary:

The House Supervisor monitors, coordinates, and supervises the daily operations and activities. Acts as a resource for all the team members and works closely with other interdisciplinary teams to maintain best practice workflows and keep issues to a minimum.

+ Supervises nursing staff, schedule shifts and their day-to-day duties on behalf of nursing leadership.

+ Perform administrative duties including scheduling nursing shifts.

+ Collaborates with other departments and programs to achieve interdisciplinary improvements.

+ Maintains a safe environment for staff and patients through awareness of surroundings and participation in the safety program.

+ Identifies and solves patients concerns, questions, and suggestions to ensure quality care is delivered.

+ Collaborates to problem solve and make decisions to achieve desired outcomes

+ Establishes effective working relationships with cross-functional team(s)

**Hours:** Per Diem, 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.

Qualifications

+ Valid California RN License

+ A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Master’s degree preferred

+ Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association

+ PALS certification preferred

+ Three or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse

+ One or more years experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is preferred

+ Demonstrates strong interpersonal relationships in a manner which enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution and facilitates staff development.
