    Job Overview:

    A member of the surgical team, acting under the direction of a Registered Nurse, who works with the surgeon and RN in delivering patient care and assuming appropriate responsibility before, during and after surgery.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + High School diploma or equivalent

    + Completion of an OR Technician training program

    + 2 3 years of experience

    + Must have strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)

    + Must be able to make calls. Must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently

    Certifications and Licenses Required:

    + Certified Surgical Technician, required

    + NBSTSA Certification, required

    + Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required with American Heart Association

    Scheduling Requirements:

    + 7:00 pm 7:00 am

    + Full Time

    + This position does include weekends, holidays and call coverage

    Pay Range:

    $ 30.65 minimum to $ 37.58 maximum Hourly Rate
