Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy by handling prescription refills, clarifications, and new prescriptions with care and precision remotely.

Responsibilities

+ Call doctors to request refills, clarify prescriptions, and obtain new prescriptions as needed.

+ Accurately enter prescription information and process refills efficiently.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in pharmacy operations and terminology.

+ Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).

+ Strong data entry skills.

+ Experience with prior authorization processes in healthcare.

+ Possession of a valid Pharmacy Technician License.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy terminology.

+ Ability to perform dosage calculations accurately.

+ Exceptional multitasking abilities.

+ TSBP License.

+ PTCB License.

Work Environment

The role is full remote that requires adherence to high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
