    Job Description

    The position will be responsible for the completion of maintenance activities at multiple Bosch facilities.

     

    + Maintain the building automation systems for multiple locations, including completing any repair and installation work that is required.

    + Maintaining accurate documentation of the current states of the building automation systems, including all sequences of operation and as built drawings.

    + Consult with and assist other facilities in North America on their building automation systems.

    + Assist with other maintenance activities, such as building rounds and mechanical equipment maintenance, as required by department leadership.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    + 5+ years of experience with programming, job start-up and checkout, and troubleshooting of building automation systems

    + Familiarity and/or experience with Johnson Controls Metasys and Niagara Building Automation System platforms

    + Strong knowledge and understanding of the tools and techniques used to maintain, diagnose problems, and repair HVAC/R equipment

    + Ability to diagnose and repair complex control systems

    + Ability to troubleshoot building equipment issues

    + Extensive knowledge of multiple DDC systems

    + Familiarity with Electrical Safe Work Practices

    + Previous aerial work platform operation certification

    + Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program familiarity

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Familiarity with Arc Flash Safety programs (NFPA 70E)

    + EPA 608 Certification (Universal is preferred)

    + Previous forklift operation certification

    + Variable Frequency Drive troubleshooting and programming experience

    + Experience repairing mechanical equipment – i.e. Air Handling Equipment

    + Experience working in teams

    + State of Michigan Mechanical Contractor License

    + Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) experience
