    Major/Essential Functions:

    + Under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President, develops and manages social media strategy for TTUHSC El Paso and TTP El Paso social media channels. Oversees media strategy for Texas Tech Dental OHC social media channels

    + Submits and plans announcement verbiage and images for public events, seminars, lectures and develops social media posts, article/announcement/release/advisory verbiage

    + Develops plans for social media stewardship by working closely with Development teams and frequently monitoring protocol for best practice

    + Tracks social media trends

    + Keeps track of events, news, and happenings across campus

    + Manage all TTUHSC El Paso social media messaging and posting, including meeting with and assisting other departments and programs with accounts or requests to post to university and/or clinic accounts

    + Performs bi-annual audits to ensure all university social media accounts are in compliance with state and federal policies

    + Develops strategy for and produces event recap videos for social media, digital marketing, and stewardship

    + Writes video treatment/scripts and assists with long-form video production as needed

    + Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes.

    + Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values. Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution

    + Perform all other duties as assigned

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience working in higher education

    + Experience writing in a professional environment, e.g., one involving deadlines, directed assignments, editing, and providing content for newsletter and magazine articles, guest columns, op-eds, scripts, advertising, websites, social media, and news releases

    + Knowledge of AP writing style, Adobe, project management software, and knowledge of social media platforms
