Description
The Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Rochester seeks a clinician with fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedics. The successful candidate will be ABOS board eligible or board certified. This is a full-time position. The Division of Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at Strong Memorial Hospital consists of 4 fellowship trained pediatric orthopedic physicians and 5 advanced practice providers (PA's, NP’s). We are seeking a pediatric orthopedic surgeon to join our well-established program. The Golisano Children's Hospital is a nationally ranked, freestanding acute care children’s hospital. The children’s hospital is an eight-story, 200,000 square-foot hospital that serves as the region’s trauma hospital and is centrally located in upstate/western New York. Qualifications
Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in orthopaedic surgery with fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedic surgery. Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted New York State medical license. A post-offer health assessment is required.

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
