Description
The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology is seeking an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation (AHFT) cardiologist to join an elite team of academic physicians as our Medical Director of Heart Transplantation. The successful candidate will have expertise in Advanced Heart Failure with a focus on Cardiac Transplantation. The successful candidate will report directly to the Medical Director of Advanced Heart Failure and work closely with our Surgical Director of Heart Transplantation. Interest and expertise in Adults with Congenital Heart Disease welcome. Non-Invasive Cardiologist with subspecialty training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation.
The successful candidate will join a team of 7 Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologists in a busy academic medical center. The University of Rochester receives referrals from across a broad region of New York State with state-of-the-art advanced imaging and intensive care unit facilities.
Qualifications
Must obtain New York State Medical License prior to employment start date
Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
Must meet all credentialing requirements
Eligible for Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation
Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
Compliance with University and New York State health requirements
