Industrial Electrician Responsibilities:

+ Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment.

+ Work as a team member or independently to complete projects.

+ Aptitude to troubleshoot complex electrical and logic problems.

+ Observe and abide by safety procedures, policies, and electrical codes.

+ Accurately interpret technical documents for proper execution of assignments.

+ Conduct quality assurance measures and inspections.

+ Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages; write code as needed.

+ Moderate understanding of the mechanical and hydraulic processes; diagnose problems as needed.

Industrial Electrician Requirements:

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ Minimum of 1-3 years heavy industrial electrical experience required.

+ Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.

+ Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.

+ Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.

+ Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.

+ Able to work rotating shifts to meet the demands of production.
