Your Responsibilities

As a **Quality Engineer** for **JD Construction & Forestry** located in **Dubuque, IA** , you will:

+ Organize purchased product excavator quality improvement and Early Detection Problem Resolution (EDPR) teams

+ Organize purchased product loader quality improvement and EDPR teams

+ Product Development (PDP) quality planning and quality improvement for C&F attachments

+ Ability to review multiple forms of data to detect trends or possible issues and make sound decisions

+ Team player and self motivated to support our product and customers

What Makes You Stand Out

+ Experience working with partner products

+ Experience with various systems and tools including: Vision, ADVANCE, CCMS, Warranty System, and Tableau

+ Experience in quality engineering, product support, or related fields

+ Technical knowledge or understanding of one or more of the following areas: hydraulics, powertrain, electrical, or software

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

+ Bachelor's degree in an Engineering/Technology or equivalent work experience

The John Deere Dubuque Works is one of the key facilities in Deere & Company's Construction and Forestry (C&F) Division. The Dubuque Works manufactures backhoe loaders, crawler dozers, and skid steer loaders for the construction industry and knuckleboom loaders and tracked feller bunchers for the forestry industry. The Dubuque Works also serves as the Center of Excellence for the C&F Division in the areas of Product Engineering, Product Verification and Validation, Supply Management, and Product Support which includes the Dealer Technical Assistance Center. From a manufacturing perspective, the core competencies of the factory include plate and sheet cutting, machining, welding, paint, and assembly.

The John Deere Dubuque Works is one of the most innovative and productive facilities of its kind.
