Grounds Crew - Racine, WI

Seasonal, working part-time during Park season

HealthFitness is looking for **Grounds Crew** to join the recreation team at our corpporate client site located in Racine, WI. In this position, you will maintain a safe and clean outdoor environment for patrons to enjoy. You will perform semi-skilled grounds labor on reoccurring and miscellaneous park projects and tasks through the use of light-duty equipment. You will enforce the policies and park regulations to keep patrons safe, and will report any unsafe conditions and equipment. You will be responsible for insuring safety of park patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies.

Key Accountabilities

+ Inspect and clean outdoor facilities/equipment on a daily basis, including opening and closing procedures.

+ Perform routine semiskilled grounds labor, construction, and maintenance.

+ Operate services of outdoor sport fields and courts, mini-golf course, driving range, picnic reservations, and other outdoor amenities.

+ Recognize and respond to an emergency within the boundaries of the park.

+ Use of vehicles: golf carts, utility carts, 1500 size truck, 2500 size truck.

+ Recognize and respond to facility needs and/or emergencies within the boundaries of the park.

+ Other duties as needed/assigned.

Minimum Requirements

+ Must be 18 years of age or older.

+ Must successfully pass a driving record check.

+ Adult CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, National Safety Council, or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.

+ Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.

+ Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

+ Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Compensation: $14.00 - $15.26/hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
