Collins Aerospace is seeking a mid-level software engineer within the Advanced Networking Solutions department in St. Petersburg, Florida in support of a real-time sensor netting system that enables high quality situational awareness and integrated fire control capability. Our software configuration management team employ an Agile Scrumban process to rapidly build and deploy capabilities on a continuous basis into a mature solution for our customers.
The successful candidate will be integrated into a small sized software team involved in all phases of Software Configuration Management. This will include the development of new scripts and automation tools as well as maintenance of existing scripts and tools for the Integrated Configuration Management/Change Management Environment. Media creation and validation with direct delivery to the customer, COTS Tool configuration and customization of traditional and non-traditional Software CM tools are performed in both Linux and Windows environments while using Agile development methods.
**What You Will Do**
+ Use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts of Software Configuration Management
+ Design, plan, enforce and coordinate CM processes and procedures
+ Configuration Planning & Identification, Change Management & Version Control, Status Accounting & Configuration Audits
+ Manage digital product development/media libraries
+ Facilitate the Change Review Boards
+ Maintain familiarity with program schedules, identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiency
+ Coordination of data transfers, courier support among various environments
+ Support coordination of various digital product releases and interfaces with functional and/or program leadership ensuring on-time delivery and supports configuration management execution in multi-environment areas
+ Work closely with and communicate effectively with other team members to achieve program success
Qualifications You Must Have
+ Enthusiastic and energetic performer able to work in a challenging, dynamic, and fast paced environment with working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
+ Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux Operating Systems and with version control and change management/agile planning tools.
+ Familiar with Linux based scripting such as shell, python, and perl.
+ Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
+ Active and transferable Interim Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance prior to start date **.** U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
**Qualifications We Prefer**
+ 2+ years of Software Configuration Management.
+ Experience in using Atlassian Tools git/Jira, JFrog Artifactory and Jenkins.
+ Experience in Agile development methods, including Scrum and Scrumban and continuous integration.
+ Knowledge of or experience in Linux OS configuration.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
