Opportunity Overview

Teradyne has an excellent opportunity for a talented Intern to join our Mixed Signal ASIC Test and Characterization team located in Agoura Hills, CA.

+ Setup and operation of lab instrumentation for test development of mixed signal Application Specific Integrated Circuits “ASICs”.

+ Assist with generation of the ASIC test plan by working with design, test, and program management teams to assist

+ Support senior ASIC engineers in execution of ASIC verification and testing

+ Creation of software and hardware for efficient testing and data processing.

Required:

+ Strong familiarity with lab equipment such as DMMs, power supplies, pattern generators and oscilloscopes.

+ Familiarity with scripting languages such as C, C++, Visual Basic.

+ Experienced with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint etc.

Preferred:

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Strong familiarity with PCBA concepts such as reading schematics, layout and manufacturing techniques.

+ Some familiarity with signal integrity concepts such as S-parameters, TDR and impedance

+ Familiarity with beginner embedded systems (e.g. Arduino)

+ Familiarity with Verilog and FPGAs

+ Soldering and SMD rework skills

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $58,240-$107,640. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
