    Gastroenterologist

    About this role:

    As a Physician in Gastroenterology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will be a part of an employed Medical Group Gastroenterology practice serving Utah County. We have a strong community need for increased access to GI and Endoscopy care in Utah County, and we have a team-based GI practice model with physician, APP, and nurse teamwork across our clinic and endoscopy locations. We will help support you in building your GI practice.

     

    + This position includes a starting base salary of **$600,000** /annually with production incentives, a **$50,000**  sign-on bonus, up to **$20,000** relocation assistance based on distance; student loan repayment and a **$1,500** monthly training stipend and future ASC opportunities are also available.

    + You will practice at our American Fork (http://intermountainhealthcare.org/locations/american-fork-hospital) and Utah Valley Hospital (http://intermountainhealthcare.org/locations/utah-valley-hospital) locations.

    + Call schedule is shared with group and expected at minimum of 1:5 w/ additional call pay for extra call shifts and opportunity for a (4) day work week

    + You will have the opportunity to teach medical students, resident, will lead in developing new academic programs. Leadership opportunities will be available.

    What you’ll bring:

    + MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

    + Residency training in Internal Medicine

    + Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Gastroenterology

    + ERCP is welcomed but not required for this position

    + Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one

    + Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

    + Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis

    American Fork is a beautiful growing community of more than 32,500. It is located at the base of the majestic Mt. Timpanogos which is between American Fork Canyon and Provo Canyon. Recreational opportunities abound in the area, Utah lake lies minutes away where you can pack a lunch and bask in the sun on the sandy beach, launch your boat or rent some toys from the harbor for the day. Other activities include swimming, golfing, water skiing, snow skiing, fishing, hiking, camping, tennis, etc. There are numerous cultural events throughout the year. The short drives to Salt Lake City (35 miles away) and Provo (11 miles away) offer close proximity to two major cities and universities. American Fork Hospital is a 90-bed acute care facility with over 200 physicians representing 30 specialties.

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

     

    $7.25 - $999.99
