    Description:

    Position Purpose

    The Regional Director, Diagnostic Imaging is a critical member of the Leadership team and is accountable and responsible for the overall leadership, management, and administration of all Diagnostic Imaging operations and for all Diagnostic Imaging Services at all medical center(s), outreach facilities, and medical group locations.

    What you will do

    + Directs administrative and scientific aspects of Diagnostic Imaging.

    + Provides guidance to diagnostic imaging leaders and takes active role in providing motivation and guidance and an appropriate professional role model for diagnostic imaging technical staff.

    + Participates in the long-range planning for the division by contributing goals and objectives based on assessed needs.

    + Develops and updates Diagnostic imaging’s written organizational plan(s) which outlines functions, structure, and mechanisms for planning and decision-making that accurately reflects diagnostic imaging practices in accordance with Joint Commission, State, Federal and other criteria.

    + Recommends the annual operating salary and non-salary budget for the diagnostic imaging based on THOfNE goals, within required timeframes.

    + Operates the THOfNE Diagnostic Imaging function within the approved budget and submits operating results and statistics to administrative representative.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + **Education** : Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree in health-related science, business administration or closely related field, and 10 or more years of related work experience. Minimally requires 10 years or more of progressively more responsible related management/leadership experience.

    + **Licensure:** Current licensure in good standing in a Diagnostic Imaging field, i.e., Radiology, Ultrasound, Nuclear Med, etc. required.
