Our client, a leader in the digital presence industry, is seeking a Senior Character Artist Prototyper to join their team. As a Senior Character Artist Prototyper, you will be part of a dynamic research team supporting innovative projects in the Metaverse. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, a passion for creativity, and a problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Senior Character Artist Prototyper

**Location:** Sausalito, CA

**Pay Range:** 50-60/hr

**Contract Length:** 1 year, possibility of extension

What's the Job?

+ Collaborate with the Creative Director, technical artists, research scientists, and engineers to explore complex research problems.

+ Rapidly iterate on digital character-focused demos and prototypes to showcase state-of-the-art technologies.

+ Create immersive demos that define the future of AR/VR avatars.

+ Translate technical terminology to ensure understanding among diverse stakeholders.

+ Identify potential roadblocks early and develop plans to mitigate risks effectively.

What's Needed?

+ 5+ years of experience as a CG character and hardsurface modeler (Maya/Zbrush).

+ Proficient in assets blueprint creation in Unreal/Unity.

+ Skilled in creating textures, clothing assets, and hair using tools like Substance and Marvelous.

+ In-depth knowledge of asset optimization for real-time applications.

+ Extensive content development experience, including shipped AAA games and/or film AR/VR experience is preferred.
