    JOB SUMMARY

    The KeyBank Marketing and Enterprise Brand Team delivers data-driven insights and unique expertise that drive brand consistency and business impact. We build authentic connections with our stakeholders, providing strategic direction that inspires action and elevates the value of our unified brand across all levels of the organization and client experience.

     

    The KeyBank Marketing Designer will bring their user-centered design expertise to a wide variety of work for Key.com, as well as other Marketing touchpoints including print and social media designs. You will be expected to advocate brand and design best practices while creating designs that support Marketing needs. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, trusted partner, highly collaborative, and possess high-level design skills. The Designer will be a reliable self-starter ready to handle a variety of projects with input from senior creative leadership in a fast-paced environment.

    COMPETENCIES:

    + No fewer than 3 years as a design professional with an emphasis on web and mobile, brand design, and print

    + Solid graphic design skills focused on image, layout and typography

    + Ability to drive the execution of all design work from concept to final delivery of assets

    + Strong communication and presentation skills

    + Ability to understand user research and competitive analysis to drive and support design recommendations

    + Motivation to find solutions to design problems and understand the wider client experience

    + Expertise in understanding and implementing an end-to-end, consistent brand experience across all user touchpoints.

    + Ability to work on tight deadlines and multiple projects

    + Ability to advocate for design’s role in delivering client-centric work that supports business goals

    + Up-to-date knowledge of the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies

    TYPICAL WORK INCLUDES:

    + Produce client-centric designs for Key.com, social media graphics, emails, design libraries, and other Marketing needs

    + Communicate with business stakeholders to receive feedback and recommend evidence-based and client-centric solutions.

    + Work effectively with writers, developers, web content specialists, marketing managers, and the wider Marketing team

    + Image research and other needed support for Senior Design team

    SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED:

    + Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

    + Figma

    + MS Office Suite

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital design, visual communications, or related field

    + Minimum 3 years of professional design experience

    + Strong attention to detail

    + Strong work ethic and personal accountability

    + Reliable and responsive communication skills

    + A design portfolio representing your problem-solving process and design outcomes

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

    This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $56,000 to $75,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
