    Position Overview

    Mystic Valley is seeking a committed and enthusiastic K–6th Grade Classroom Teacher to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through high-quality instruction, consistent collaboration, and the cultivation of a structured and engaging learning environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Create and maintain a focused, well-managed classroom environment conducive to learning

    + Deliver Core Knowledge curriculum and lesson plans with fidelity and effectiveness

    + Monitor and document student progress regularly, using both daily and weekly metrics

    + Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities

    + Collaborate with colleagues during weekly grade-level and Teacher Assistance Team (TAT) meetings

    + Attend IEP meetings and ensure timely completion of related documentation, implementing accommodations for students with IEPs and 504 Plans

    + Lead peer practice sessions (as assigned) for 30 minutes each week

    + Conduct four parent-teacher conferences annually (two in the fall, two in the spring)

    + Participate in key school events, including Back to School Night and open houses

    + Supervise assigned duties during morning arrival, lunch/recess, and afternoon dismissal

    + Uphold and enforce all school policies and procedures

    + Complete additional responsibilities as directed by grade-level leaders or the school’s Leadership Team
