In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring healthcare providers meet regulatory standards, supporting compliance, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced environment.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Credentialing Management:

    + Collect, review, and verify documentation for licensures, certifications, education, and training for healthcare providers.

    + Submit and manage credentialing applications with insurance providers, state licensing boards, and other regulatory bodies in compliance with industry standards.

    + Records Maintenance:

    + Maintain detailed provider records in an organized and secure manner using credentialing databases and systems.

    + Ensure all re-credentialing deadlines are met and documentation remains current.

    + Compliance & Regulation:

    + Stay updated on federal, state, and local regulatory changes, ensuring all credentialing processes align with accreditation standards such as NCQA and Joint Commission requirements.

    + Assist with audits and accreditation reviews by compiling necessary compliance documentation.

    + Client & Provider Communication:

    + Act as the primary liaison between healthcare professionals, clients, and third-party entities such as insurance providers or regulatory agencies.

    + Provide timely responses to any inquiries or concerns related to credentialing processes.

    + Workflow Optimization:

    + Identify inefficiencies in credentialing workflows, proactively suggesting process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

    Requirements

    Skills and Qualifications:

    + Required:

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    + Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

    + Proficiency in credentialing or database systems and general office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

    + Preferred:

    + Experience with credentialing in a healthcare setting or medical administration (13-5 years strongly preferred).

    + Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) software like Epic or Cerner.

    + Certification in medical credentialing, such as Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Services Manager (CPMSM).
