    Job Description

    We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst with strong analytical and modeling skills to join our Third-Party Finance Team. The position reports to the Senior Finance Manager of Third-Party Finance and works closely with the heads of Third-Party Operations, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Revenue Management, and Cash Management. The role will have the opportunity to create and review pro formas, budgets, financial reports, and various analytical models for hundreds of acquisitions and developments.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Lead underwriting of potential Third-Party developments and acquisitions by partnering with Business Developers, Operations, and Revenue Management

    + Manage the annual budget for all Third Party properties

    + Provide 5-year projections and budgets for third party properties using various models and analytical tools

    + Build and maintain various financial databases and models related to markets and submarkets, rates, occupancy trends, and expenses

    + Conduct ongoing analysis on rates and occupancy trends and monitor cash flow and performance of third party properties

    + Assist the leaders of Finance and Third Party with the Monthly P&L forecasting and reports

    + Partner with owners and investors and senior leadership from Operations, Accounting, and Cash Management to resolve financial reporting, pricing, and reporting issues

    + Review month-end journal entries, accruals, allocations, and expense accounts

    + Manage the preparation of monthly financial reports and review income statements, balance sheet, cash flow analysis, and performance reports

    + Develop ad hoc reports for senior leaders as needed.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

    + 2 - 4 years of related experience in finance, accounting, and real estate

    + Advanced knowledge of Excel (vlookups, formulas, if statements, pivot tables, etc.)

    + Real Estate industry experience is a plus

    + Outstanding organizational skills and great attention to detail

    + Exceptional presentation and analytical skills

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
