    The Role at a glance:

    We are looking to add an enthusiastic, friendly event server to our Catering team in San Francisco, CA. As an event server, you will have the opportunity to engage a diverse clientele across a variety of events.

    What you'll be doing:

    + Greeting customers, explaining menu items, taking and delivering orders, and continuing with follow-up items.

    + Setting up and breaking down all front of house and back of house bars and beverage stations.

    + Performing food service as needed.

    + Customer service, including describing and recommending menu items.

    + Ensuring that service follows health code regulations.

    + Basic customer service interactions.

    + Following standard recipes to mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests of the service bar if also working as a bartender.

    What we're looking for:

    _Must-haves:_

    + Excellent communication and organization skills.

    + Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge.

    + At least 18 years old.

    + Ability to memorize and describe a variety of recipes, especially for mixed beverages if also working as a bartender.

    + Prior bartending experience if you are also bartending.

    + A valid state bartending license if you are also bartending.

    + At least one year of foodservice experience in a catering or restaurant setting.

    Compensation:

    $25 an hour.
