    Mission Overview & Responsibilities :

    The Systems Analyst, Executive Support role provides support services for the senior leadership of The New York Times Company. You will provide fast and seamless “white glove” service to high profile users with access to sensitive information. We are looking for excellent customer service skills and the ability to quickly troubleshoot a problem with discretion. You will also support presentations during executive events and conferences and provide the technical support, installation, and upgrading of numerous technologies including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.

     

    This role is based in our New York City office and requires in office presence 5 days a week. This role may require some travel.

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide immediate support services to high-level Executives, Senior management, Masthead, and VIPs.

    + Must be available to provide 24x7 support.

    + Will maintain strict confidentiality.

    + Respond to incidents and requests within a ticketing system, providing resolution within a complex business environment.

    + Flexibility to service an elite customer base with changing demands and irregular hours.

    + Provide support during business travels, in remote offices or executives' personal homes.

    + Help coordinate Audio/Video presentations in room or by web conferencing.

    + Deploy and support multiple devices including laptops, desktops, printers, and wireless devices.

    + Install and operate audio-visual equipment including microphones, speakers, video displays, cameras, and mixing consoles, for meetings, conferences, and events.

    + Evaluate executive technology needs and recommend solutions.

    + You will report to Manager of Executive Support & AV Operations.

    Basic Qualifications :

    + 3+ years of experience in an information technology technical support role

    + Experience working with senior leadership and executive assistants

    + Experienced system administrator (must be proficient in Mac, PC, iOS, and Android)

    + Technical knowledge of audio systems, video systems, and control systems

    + Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance

    + Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping

    Preferred Qualifications :

    + Ability to travel to Executive's homes for technical support and setup

    + Experience working solo and with cross-functional departments

    + Experience working in a dynamic environment with changing schedules and priorities

    The annual base pay range for this role is between:

    $90,000 — $115,000 USD
