Perform project and on-site engineering services, including programming, start-up, training, modifications, and troubleshooting on revenue-generating projects. Manage multiple projects and teams, ensuring on-time performance and profitability, while providing technical support and troubleshooting for control panel products.
Responsibilities
+ Perform project and on-site engineering services including programming, start-up, training, modifications, and troubleshooting.
+ Manage multiple projects, including team management, resource allocation, and project documentation.
+ Generate quotations, specifications, and project plans to ensure successful project execution.
+ Provide independent troubleshooting and training for control panels in at least one target market.
+ Support control panel products with back-up capability.
+ Offer secondary technical support to customers and field engineers on Eurotherm non-system and systems products.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot customer applications remotely or on-site.
+ Provide escalation support from Technical Support personnel.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an Associate degree with significant experience.
+ Five years of experience with industrial control in support or field engineering.
+ Experience in designing and supporting control panels.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Solidworks drawing package.
+ Knowledge of UL508A and NEC electrical standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Well-trained in mechanical engineering and basics of electronics and control theory.
+ Knowledge of hazardous area requirements.
+ Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with control instrumentation.
+ Familiarity with configuration and programming of micro-based instrumentation.
+ Experience in creating lesson plans and conducting training.
+ Self-motivated with good communication skills.
Work Environment
Work three days on-site and two days remotely. Engage with a global clientele and be part of a team engineering systems in diverse industries such as Heat Treat, Life Science, Food & Beverage, Plastics & Water.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
