Technical Writer

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Writer to collaborate with engineers in creating, updating, and maintaining technical specifications, reports, manuals, presentations, procedures, and other documents. This role involves reviewing technical documents for formatting and adherence to standards and may include assisting in configuration management areas such as Requirements Management, Design Control, Document and Records Management, and Issue and Change Management.

Essential Skills

+ Technical writing expertise

+ Engineering knowledge

+ Experience with work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

+ Document control and change management skills

+ Ability to create and edit technical publications and manuals

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with technical documentation

+ Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts

+ Strong organizational skills

+ Experience in managing review and approval processes

+ Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management Systems

Work Environment

This position involves working in both office and manufacturing environments. It offers a 12-month contract with the option for full-time employment upon completion. Benefits include negotiable paid time off and holiday options. The role is highly visible within the industry.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
