    Job Description

    Join a long-term project engagement with a leading industry player in the Residential, Industrial, and Commercial climate control domain. This role will directly impact the design and manufacturing of cutting-edge heating and cooling systems for high-tech applications such as data centers and alternative energy production.     Responsibilities

    + Identify testable product requirements and develop test cases to validate interfaces, performance, and product features.

    + Develop and maintain test artifacts, including test plans, procedures, reports, and both manual and automated scripts.

    + Execute manual and automated tests.

    + Identify and document defects and questionable functions.

    + Participate in the development and peer reviews of software documentation.

    + Manage configuration of test cases and results.

    + Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate and test products.

     

    Skills

     

    + Experience in embedded firmware and Python programming.

    + Proficiency in embedded software testing.

    + Understanding of hardware/software interface communication troubleshooting and firmware.

    + BS Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.

    + Knowledge of electronics, including understanding schematics and test equipment.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience as an individual contributor in embedded software development or testing.

    + Strong experience with test automation.

    + Experience documenting and tracking issues and presenting findings.

    + Experience troubleshooting software and communication with hardware interfaces.

    + Preference for candidates with HP/ALM experience.

    + Labview knowledge is a plus.

    + Must demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.

    + 3.0 GPA demonstrating work ethic, focus, and commitment.

    Work Environment

    This role is onsite at a state-of-the-art design and test facility built in 2017, located in New Freedom, PA. You will be working directly with actual products and simulators in the office lab. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, PTO, and holidays. Initially, you will follow previously written test procedures, but will eventually write your own as you gain domain and product knowledge.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
