Job Title: Environmental Service Attendant
Job Description
An Environmental Services Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment within a facility, primarily in a healthcare setting. This role involves performing various tasks such as cleaning, disinfecting, and waste disposal to ensure a safe and hygienic space for patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
+ Perform cleaning and disinfecting tasks in patient rooms and other areas.
+ Manage waste disposal efficiently to ensure cleanliness.
+ Maintain equipment used for cleaning and disinfecting.
+ Perform floor care duties including mopping and dusting.
+ Ensure restrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in cleaning, housekeeping, and janitorial tasks.
+ Experience with mopping and disinfecting techniques.
+ Knowledge of waste management practices.
+ Ability to maintain cleaning equipment effectively.
+ Skill in floor care and restroom cleaning.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in dusting and maintaining cleanliness standards.
Work Environment
The candidate will be working in a hospital environment, focusing on cleaning patient rooms upon discharge and maintaining overall facility cleanliness.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Henderson, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $11.00 - $11.00/hr.
