    Job Title: Material Handler/Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    Join our team as a warehouse worker in the aluminum fencing department, where you'll play a key role in ensuring products are accurately staged for shipping and meet customer specifications.

    Responsibilities

    + Remove products from the production area and stage them in the shipping department.

    + Inspect products to ensure they are free of defects and match specific order requirements.

    + Pack products according to customer specifications and load them onto skids.

    + Operate a sit-down forklift to move skids and load trucks safely.

    + Place protective materials to prevent damage during shipping.

    + Perform basic light assembly of parts as needed.

    + Accurately count products to ensure shipments are complete and correct.

    + Assist in other departments when required.

    + Operate a hand jack to move empty and loaded skids.

    + Load and unload push carts, moving them to various production or staging areas.

    + Enter and remove items from inventory, requiring paper and computer documentation.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, assembly, inspection, and packing.

    + Forklift operation skills.

    + Proficiency in general labor and packaging.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Basic packing and loading skills.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.
