    Artificial Intelligence (AI) is redefining how businesses operate, and SAP Business AI is at the forefront of this transformation. As we continue to embed AI across our product portfolio, it is critical that we show up with impact at both SAP-hosted and third-party industry events, ensuring our AI leadership is clearly articulated to customers, partners, and key stakeholders.

     

    SAP’s Business AI mission is to scale AI innovation across SAP’s portfolio and establish SAP as the leader in AI-driven enterprise transformation. As the Business AI Events Lead, you will own the strategy, execution, and content strategy and alignment for SAP’s AI presence at global events, ensuring SAP engages the right audiences with the right message at the right time.

     

    We are looking for a Business AI Evenst Strategy Lead to define and execute SAP’s global AI event strategy, ensuring strategic alignment, content excellence, and impact measurement and learning across our AI event programs. This role will shape how we show up at flagship SAP events, third-party industry engagements, and executive forums worldwide and work with the appropriate speakers and executive voices for these events. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep expertise in event marketing, capable of aligning corporate, regional, and product teams to drive consistent, high-impact event experiences that elevate SAP’s Business AI impact.

    The Role:

    As the Business AI Event Strategy Lead, you will be responsible for the global strategy, design, and execution of SAP Business AI’s presence across first-party and third-party events. You will define where, when, and how SAP Business AI engages globally, ensuring our AI story is consistently and effectively communicated to key audiences. While this role does not own all content development for the events, it does involve the crafting of a content strategy and recommendation together with Product Marketers and speakers– therefore, you must have a strong understanding of AI messaging, positioning, and enterprise technology to curate, shape, and align SAP Business AI content aligned with SAP’s corporate strategy.

    Key responsibilities include:

    + Develop and execute SAP Business AI’s global event strategy, defining where and how we engage across first-party and third-party industry events.

    + Shape the AI event experience, ensuring alignment with corporate marketing, product marketing, sales, and executive leadership.

    + Create a unified event framework, providing strategic guidance on content themes, session formats, and audience engagement strategies.

    + Collaborate with field, regional, and corporate marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of SAP’s Business AI event presence across all geographies.

    + Own the executive engagement strategy, ensuring SAP’s AI leadership is well-represented at keynotes, panels, and high-profile customer engagements.

    + Own content strategy and recommendation as well as vet and review event content with SMEs, ensuring consistency and alignment with SAP’s AI messaging and go-to-market priorities.

    + Establish event measurement frameworks, tracking engagement, brand perception, and business impact to refine future event strategies.

    + Serve as the global point of contact for Business AI’s event strategy, ensuring alignment across SAP’s business units and event stakeholders.

    Experience & Skills:

    + Extensive experience in global event strategy and execution, ideally within AI, enterprise software, or cloud-based technology.

    + Deep understanding of AI and enterprise technology, with the ability to vet, shape, and align event content to strategic business objectives.

    + Strong strategic planning skills, with experience orchestrating high-profile executive engagements, thought leadership summits, and industry activations.

    + Ability to work cross-functionally across corporate, product, and field marketing teams to align on event priorities and messaging.

    + Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working with executive leaders, technical experts, and industry influencers.

    + Data-driven approach, leveraging event insights, audience engagement metrics, and business impact analysis to refine future event strategies.

    + Proven ability to execute high-impact event marketing programs globally, ensuring consistency across regions, industries, and business functions.

    + Deep curiosity to create innovative experiences that can elevate the perception and leadership of SAP Business AI, collaborating with the SIX team, events team, creative and agencies for innovative concepts.

    Requirements:

    + 10 years of experience in event marketing, event strategy, or corporate marketing within enterprise software, AI, or cloud computing.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).

    + Experience managing large-scale corporate event programs, including flagship conferences, executive forums, and global thought leadership events as well as curated and innovative experiences.

    **Compensation Range Transparency** : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 192500 - 327,100(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
