    Responsibilities

    As theDirector of Procurement, you’ll lead our sourcing and purchasing strategy, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability across the organization. Your work will directly impact how GPM grows and operates.

    In this role, you will:

    + Develop and implement a strategic procurement plan aligned with company goals

    + Oversee contract negotiations, vendor relationships, and supplier performance

    + Lead, coach, and support a high-performing procurement team

    + Standardize and improve procurement policies, systems, and compliance procedures

    + Monitor key metrics, identify cost-saving opportunities, and present insights to leadership

    + Champion cross-functional collaboration and training initiatives across departments

    Qualifications

    We’re seeking acollaborative, data-driven leaderwith a strong background in procurement and change management.

    Required Qualifications:

    + 5–7 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles

    + Proven leadership experience with a track record of team development and performance management

    + Strong analytical and organizational skills

    + Excellent verbal and written communication

    + Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

    + Demonstrated success in implementing procurement policies and systems

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field

     

    PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification

     

    Procurement leadership experience within a retail or multi-site business environment
