Position Summary:
The Customer Service Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive the highest level of service and support. This position serves as a liaison between customers and the company, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and facilitating effective communication. The Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily customer service operations, supervising the Customer Service Associates, and implementing processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
• Coordinates the day-to-day functions of restaurant services, including market communications, inventory control, and promotional activities, while acting as a liaison between centralized customer service, purchasing, and automated restaurant ordering systems for distribution center operations
• Monitor the execution of Customer Service Representatives.
• Develop and cascade customer communications, including newsletters, guides, new processes, and contingency plans
• Own credit and claims processes for the Distribution Center
• Collaborate with the Inventory Control Specialist to investigate inventory variances
• Establish and maintain connections with restaurant managers, vendors, and personnel in field office positions within the local market.
• Act as a liaison between the customer, the Supply Chain Manager, and the Distribution Center.
• Facilitate alignment among our internal stakeholders regarding customer communications, ensuring that changes to processes and procedures are communicated effectively
• Guarantee compliance with quality procedures during the delivery process.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and 5+ years of experience in the food industry and 0-1 years of supervisory experience
• more than 3 years of administrative-type experience working with customers.
• Fully bilingual (Spanish-English)
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, Power Point and Outlook
• Demonstrated proficiency in other software programs such as WEB ordering systems
• Demonstrated problem – solving skills
• Detail-oriented, conscientious, and able to work independently
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Proven ability to multi-task effectively and produce accurate, timely results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Consistently demonstrate a positive approach, team-player attitude, and professional demeanor
• Willing to work any shift and any schedule due to our 24/7 environment
• Must pass post-offer background check and drug test
• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Foodservice distribution a plus.
