Role Overview:

As the Director of Product Management, you'll drive our software feature prioritization process and establish robust product development methodologies that balance input from multiple stakeholders while delivering exceptional customer value. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a growing product team within a large organization that maintains the agility and innovation of a startup. Your ownership of the day-to-day product evolution decisions gives key leadership the ability to focus on research and strategic initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Lead feature prioritization and roadmap development for our B2B Edge AI SaaS products, establishing clear rationale for development sequencing

+ Evolve our product development processes to systematically gather and incorporate inputs from customer solutions engineering, customer success, pre-sales, developer relations, and engineering teams

+ Collaborate closely with product managers and product designers to create cohesive product experiences

+ Establish data-informed decision frameworks that incorporate user feedback and site monitoring metrics

+ Build and manage a focused but growing team of product professionals

+ Navigate a fast-paced environment with frequent acquisitions and changing priorities

+ Serve as the bridge between customer needs and technical feasibility

Preferred Skills and Experience:

+ 12+ years of experience in product management for B2B SaaS products

+ Background in product design with a progression into product management leadership

+ Experience managing teams of product managers and designers

+ Proven track record of implementing structured product development methodologies

+ Demonstrated success managing cross-functional product teams

+ History of taking on increasing responsibility in fast-paced environments

+ Ability to thrive in a startup-like culture within a much larger organization

+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

+ Experience with embedded systems or hardware-adjacent software products

+ Familiarity with Edge AI/ML applications in product development

+ Experience at both startups and larger organizations

Academic Credentials:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 7+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

Pay range** **and Other Compensation & Benefits** **:

$248,100.00 - $372,100.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
