    Job Summary

    Job Responsibilities

    + Manage the company's inventory control activities to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing raw materials and finished products

    + Manage the receipt and storage of products, materials, equipment, parts, accessories, and supplies

    + Monitor inspection of incoming items against orders for accuracy, completeness, and defects

    + Arrange for the return and replacement of defective items

    + Manage periodic and special inventories; accounts for inventory variances

    + Develop and implement improvements in policies and procedures to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs

    + Plan and coordinate the transfer of products, materials, equipment, parts, accessories, and/or supplies between/among warehouses

    + Engage in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and controlling

    + Support, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the company

    + May also have supervisory responsibility involving staffing, conducting performance appraisals, training and developing subordinates, promotions, salary increases, terminations, disciplinary actions, etc

    + Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
