    UMC is currently seeking an Executive Director for our Bristol Glen Senior Care Community located in Newton, NJ. Bristol Glen, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), is thoughtfully designed to provide person directed care in a home-like environment to ensure exceptional care and quality of life for our residents.

    Requirements for an Executive Director:

    + Undergraduate degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, social sciences or related area.

    + 5-7 year relevant long-term care managerial experience.

    + NJ Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, preferred.

    Responsibilities for an Executive Director :

    + Responsible for achieving organizational, financial satisfaction and quality objectives.

    + Establish and maintains an e?ective collaborating relationship with the residents and with the working components of the residents' organization, namely the residents' council and its various committees.

    + Provides community oversight, delegating authority, responsibility, and accountability to the responsible department heads where appropriate. Meet with department supervisors concerning the operation of their departments and other related areas.

    + Manages the campus and service line risk management program. (See Campus Risk Management Designee Addendum)

    + Represents the community in dealings with outside agencies, including governmental agencies and third-party payers, or provides an authorized representative of the community when unable to attend such meetings.

    + Prepares an annual operating budget and allocates resources. Control monthly income and expense and provide analysis and intervention to maintain budgetary control. Assures that adequate financial records and cost reports are submitted to authorized government agencies as required.

    + Functions as the community licensed administrator. Responsible for adherence to UMC Compliance Program including Public Health, Medicare/Medicaid participation guidelines.

    + Interpret business strategy and determine innovative solutions supporting strategy implementation. Design, research, develop, analyze and suggest new and innovative concepts and strategies.
