    Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST in the Engineering and Product Support Department, Product Quality Division, of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will supervise Product Quality Department Supply Systems Analysts, analyze and process Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs), and coordinate the monthly Defective Material Summary letter and Defective Material Reference File report. You will liaison with high level government personnel to resolve logistics, technical, and controversial issues relating to quality assurance material conformance matters and obtaining information on the latest developments. You will plan and revise work schedules and projects, adjusting assignments to meet changing priorities as needed. You will represent the Command in high level conferences and meetings and maintain effective working relationships with other Commands, DLA, DCMA, and Navy Fleet operating forces. You will interpret, organize, and coordinate assignments which are high volume in work throughput, typically have consistent/repeatable processing steps, but may have unique and highly complex problems which require resolution. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing, analyzing, and processing Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs) to evaluate compliance with policies and monitor effectiveness of the stock screening program; 2) Providing Navy ships and shore activities with advice on suspected defective material and procedures to report defective material, including logistics/technical information necessary for in-depth investigations; 3) Defining problems, analyzing alternatives, and recommending solutions for unprecedented or unique problems; 4) Developing plans, policies, and procedures which result in an improved quality level of supply system stock; and 5) Supporting and coordinating stock screening via the monthly Defective Material Summary letter and Defective Material Reference File report.
