• Division Finance Officer- Commercial

    Eastern Bank (Boston, MA)


    Finance liaison to the Commercial Division, supporting business line leaders with financial planning, reporting and analysis of performance.

    Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

    + Support Commercial budget development and monitoring to ensure adherence to financial targets

    + Participate in development of annual strategic plan

    + Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to Commercial management identifying trends and variances thereby improving insight for management

    + Partner with Accounting on monthly internal financial review and close providing insight to division growth, revenue and expense

    + Conduct regular financial forecasting and modeling

    + Ensure accurate, timely and consistent management reporting

    + Work with business line leaders on pricing, modeling new products & services

    + Support and help drive profitable growth

     

    Skills and Qualifications

    Education

    + Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

    Experience

    + 10+ years of experience in financial management, budgeting and analysis

    Knowledge

    + Strong understanding of banking industry practices

    Skills

    + Analytical and problem-solving skills

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    + Knowledgeable in financial software and systems including Axiom, Microsoft Office, Oracle, Power BI, Salesforce

    Certifications

    + CPA or other relevant financial certifications are beneficial
