    Summary of Responsibilities:

    The business intelligence lead will lead the strategy, development, and optimization of business intelligence solutions across the organization. This role focuses on utilizing Power BI to provide actionable insights, streamline reporting, and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with hands-on experience in Power BI, a deep understanding of analytics, and a passion for innovation and operational efficiency. This individual will work closely with operations, leadership, and clients to ensure alignment with company objectives.

    Primary Responsibilities and Objectives:

    + Create and manage dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI

    + Develop and execute a BI strategy aligned with organizational goals and operational needs

    + Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure BI tools remain cutting-edge and relevant

    + Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within BI platforms

    + Build and manage a small team, providing mentorship, guidance, and training

    + Collaborate with internal teams and clients to prioritize and deliver BI projects

    • Integrate multiple data sources, including property management systems like Yardi, RealPage, or OneSite, into BI tools

    + Identify and resolve data-related challenges to ensure scalability and flexibility of solutions

    + Deliver insights into operational performance, revenue trends, and key metrics

    + Drive automation in data collection, reporting, and analysis to increase efficiency and reduce manual work

    + Train and support internal teams and clients in understanding and utilizing dashboards

    + Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging cross-departmental teamwork

    + Bridge the gap between technical solutions and business requirements

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Education and Experience:

    + High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred

    + 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

    + Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling

    Skills and Requirements:

    + Strong understanding of SQL, ETL processes, API, and data warehousing concepts

    + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

    + Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with diverse audiences

    + Proven leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to inspire and manage teams

    + Microsoft Power BI certification is a plus

    + Sensitivity to confidential information and strong attention to detail

    Scheduling:

    + Required to maintain a regular schedule, which may include working outside business hours, weekends, and non-traditional holidays

    + Ability to travel (35%)

    Environment:

    + Exposure to a typical office environment
