Position Summary...
As a Senior Manager, Software Engineering at Walmart, you will lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and maintain scalable technology solutions that power Walmart's global retail and eCommerce operations. You will drive strategic initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-performance software that enhances customer experience and operational efficiency.

+ Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
+ Define and execute technology strategies that align with Walmart's business objectives.
+ Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
+ Collaborate with product management, UX, and business stakeholders to define requirements and drive technology solutions.
+ Implement best practices in software engineering, including DevOps, cloud computing, and agile methodologies.
+ Drive system architecture decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and security. Monitor system performance and continuously optimize applications for efficiency.
+ Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
What You'll Bring:
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
+ Strong expertise in backend and frontend technologies (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, React, Angular).
+ Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture. Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-availability applications.
+ Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
+ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
+ This role is ideal for a technical leader who is passionate about driving innovation in large-scale software solutions and has a deep understanding of the retail and eCommerce industry

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area. Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
