    Lion Real Estate Group is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee five properties (1,386 units) within our greater Dallas portfolio of conventional multifamily properties.

     

    Lion Real Estate Group, established in 2007 by Jeff Weller and Mory Barak, is a US-based investment firm with a niche focus on acquiring B/C multifamily assets in the Sun Belt states. The co-founders have completed $2.5 billion of real estate transactions and have office locations in Dallas, TX (headquarters), Los Angeles, CA and Nashville, TN. The firm currently owns and operates over 6,800 units across 29 multifamily properties located in the Los Angeles, Nashville, Dallas, Austin, Houston, Atlanta, and Charlotte markets.

    The Regional Manager is responsible and accountable for the overall supervision and performance of the assigned portfolio. The Regional Manager supports and executes the Company’s strategies related to property management operations by directing the team members on the assigned portfolio of properties, and by implementing the policies, procedures, and practices that enable each community to meet and exceed budgeted financial goals and achieve operational performance objectives.

    REGIONAL MANAGER - Supervisory Responsibilities

    + Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff

    + Oversees the daily workflow of the portfolio, including maintenance service

    + Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations in accordance with company policy

    + Handles discipline and termination of associates in accordance with company policy

    REGIONAL MANAGER - Essential Functions

    + Provides direction, leadership, and mentorship to the assigned team of community managers

    + Maintains day-to-day communications with Supervisor

    + Promotes resident satisfaction and retention

    + Compiles and analyzes financial, administrative, and other data reports accurately and timely

    + Reviews, analyzes, and interprets market data

    + Works closely with Vice President of Operations to develop the annual budget(s)

    + Ensures entire portfolio and individual properties meet the established operational, financial, and business performance goals

    + Coordinates work activities and services from supplier partners, consultants, and other contractors

    + Ensures the physical well-being and curb appeal of the assigned properties including grounds cleanliness

    + Exercises sound judgment regarding community expenditures while maintaining knowledge of the best supplier partner for cost, quality, and service

    + Establishes and maintains the best possible occupancy of the apartment communities within assigned portfolio.

    + Eliminates lost revenues due to vacancies by executing timely turnover and adhering to traditional and creative marketing protocols to lease apartments

    + Monitors resident satisfaction through follow-up calls, emails, or meetings to ensure a positive living experience

    + Maintains regular and consistent attendance according to required work schedule decided by the Company

    + Provides exemplary customer service to residents, prospects, and guests and represents the Company in a professional manner at all times

    REGIONAL MANAGER - Required Skills/Abilities

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (English)

    + Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

    + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Team player with excellent leadership skills

    + Ability to work independently, prioritize duties, manage time efficiently, and multi-task.

    + Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

    + Proficient with Yardi or similar property management software

    REGIONAL MANAGER - Education and Experience

    + Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferably in related field of study

    + 3+ years multifamily property management experience

    + 2+ years prior experience in Regional Manager role

    + Industry Certifications (CAM, CPM. etc.) highly preferred

    REGIONAL MANAGER - Required Travel

    + Must have valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

    + Frequent need to utilize personal transportation to inspect assigned apartment communities, surrounding neighborhood, market competitors, and other business errands.
