    Mid-Prairie is seeking a dedicated and compassionatePublic School Nurseto join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting student success by removing health-related barriers to learning and promoting the well-being of both students and staff.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Promote optimal physical, mental, emotional, and social health among students and staff.

    + Identify and address health issues and disabilities through screenings, case finding, and early intervention.

    + Provide preventive health services and health education.

    + Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare providers to manage chronic conditions and prevent serious health problems.

    + Facilitate referrals to appropriate healthcare resources as needed.

    + Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with school health policies and state regulations.

    Qualifications:

    + Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Iowa

    + School Nurse Certification with no restrictions

    + CPR and First Aid Certification

    + Experience in pediatrics, community health, or school nursing preferred

    + Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
