The Digital S/W Eng Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Responsibilities:
+ Significantly contribute to the development of world-class enterprise applications leveraging the latest technologies and software design patterns
+ Develop and engineer front end solutions within an Agile software delivery team, working to collaboratively deliver sprint goals, write code, and participate in the broader Citi technical community and team-level Agile and Scrum processes
+ Apply extensive knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, ensuring software is built to the highest standards
+ Partner continuously with stakeholders, UX and QA
+ Leverage technical knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues, as necessary
+ Grow and develop subject matter expertise for the relevant area of business, applying this knowledge to ensure solutions are closely aligned to business needs and goals
+ Provide thought leadership, as well as coaching and development for junior team members
+ Follow and contribute to technical and team standards and practices
+ Collaborate with technical leadership to ensure work is aligned to the broad technical strategy
Qualifications:
+ 6-10 years of relevant experience in an Apps Development role or senior level experience in an Enterprise Architecture role with subject matter expert in one or more areas as Software Engineer/Developer using Angular
+ Multiple years of experience using modern build tools for front-end solutions (npm, yarn, gulp etc.)
+ Multiple years of experience using front-end test strategies and frameworks (jasmine, karma, selenium etc.)
+ Multiple years of experience with software engineering best practices (unit testing, automation, design patterns, peer review, etc.)
+ Clear understanding of Service Oriented and MicroServices architectures, including REST and GraphQL implementations
+ Clear understanding of building horizontally scalable, highly available, highly resilient, and low latency applications
+ Multiple years of experience with agile and iterative software delivery
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience
+ Exhibit expertise in all aspects of technology by understanding broader patterns and techniques as they apply to Citi’s internal and external cloud platforms (AWS, PCF, Akamai)
+ Lead resources and serve as a functional SME across the company through advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, networking, use of knowledge and experience to lead, architect, and drive broader adoption forward.
+ Acquire relevant technology and financial industry skills (AWS PWS) and understand all aspects of NGA technology – including innovative approaches and new opportunities.
+ Demonstrate knowledge on automating code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in the CI/CD.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Exposure to Cloud infrastructure both on-premises and public cloud (i.e., OpenShift, AWS, etc.)
+ Exposure to Cloud-native development and Container Orchestration tools (Serverless, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.)
+ Exposure to API Management tools
+ Exposure to event-driven design and architecture (Kafka, Spark Flink, etc.)
+ Exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, either on-premise or public cloud (i.e., Tekton, Harness, CircleCI, Cloudbees Jenkins, etc.)
+ Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Cloudformation, etc.)
+ Exposure to Security, Observability, and Monitoring tools (Grafana Prometheus, Splunk, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.)
+ Exposure to database concepts (RDBMS, NoSQL)

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$125,600.00 - $188,400.00
