• Intern - Workstation Engineer

    Hyundai AutoEver America's HQ (Fountain Valley or Costa Mesa, depending on business unit) will be running a 12-week internship program from 06/16/2025 to 09/05/2025.  Interns will be expected to work anywhere between 20 - 24 hours a week, not to exceed 30 hours a week.

    Job Purpose:

    We are looking for a Workstation Engineering Intern to support daily operations and help execute strategic business plans. This role is expected to deliver enterprise-wide desktop engineering and design support by leveraging the design, engineering, configuration, administration, and maintenance of SCCM, GPM, AD, and Virtual Desktop consoles.

     

    You are responsible for day-to-day operations support, using technical knowledge and skill in dealing with and coordinating tasks with local and remote teams. You are expected to handle requests, coordinate with business, and collaborate with different HAEA departments while ensuring that the Service Legel Agreement is met.

    Essential Functions:

    + Act as point person for desktop security vulnerability monitoring, ranking, and patching

    + Assist Workstation Engineers on related workstation hardware, software and networking tasks.

    + Assist on process, standard procedures and guide documentation.

    + Assists in preparing summaries, analytics, reporting, and administrative tasks.

    + Provide audit and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operation’s efficiency and effectiveness.

    Basic Requirements:

    + College Senior or recent graduate in Engineering, IT, Computer Science or related course

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills be able to identify problems and proactively provide solutions.

    + Basic knowledge in using Microsoft Windows OS, MS Exchange and MS SQL

    + Basic IT programming skills with an OO language (Java, C/C++)

    + Knowledge in using MS Office: Excel (data entry, reporting and analysis), Power Point (presentation), Word (documentation).

    + Strong communication and documentation skills; attention to detail.

    + Passion for continuous learning.

     

    Pay Range - $25.00 to $27.00/hour
