Job Title: Senior Cloud Developer

Primary Location: Reston, VA or Washington, DC

Clearance: Top-Secret (TS) Clearance

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable cloud computing solutions across multiple service models including PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS. The ideal candidate will be adept in cloud platform architecture, automation using DevSecOps best practices, application analysis for cloud readiness, and driving strategies for cost optimization and resiliency.

This role involves working independently to design and develop new cloud-native applications, migrate legacy on-premise solutions, and provide expert guidance on cloud adoption strategies across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities:

•    Develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks to support PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS solutions.

•    Implement automation and CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps principles.

•    Analyze and assess applications to determine optimal migration strategies to cloud environments.

•    Design strategies for high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization across cloud and hybrid infrastructures.

•    Migrate, debug, and optimize cloud applications and services.

•    Establish and maintain secure, scalable cloud environments while ensuring compliance and governance.

•    Develop and enforce cloud usage policies, manage technology requests, and integrate cloud services with enterprise platforms.

•    Contribute to Agile development cycles and collaborate with cross-functional teams using tools like Jira and Confluence.

•    Support ongoing monitoring and operational intelligence efforts through tools such as Splunk.

Required Qualifications:

•    Active Top-Secret clearance (TS)

•    Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and implementation.

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud services.

•    Experience with Citrix environments.

•    Scripting proficiency with PowerShell, Python, and JSON.

•    Hands-on experience with Active Directory policy management.

•    Familiarity with Splunk for monitoring and logging.

•    Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.)

•    Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud deployments.

•    Strong communication and documentation skills.
