Additional Information About the Role
The Senior Performance Measure Consultant will partner with their Manager, in Center for Clinical Excellence to oversee inpatient and outpatient regulatory quality metrics for East Region hospitals, including but not limited to electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) portfolio implementation, performance analysis, workflow optimization, validation, and improvement. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary groups both internal and external to the organization. Familiarity with eCQMs, Epic data capture, and clinical informatics experience is highly preferred. In addition, project management skills will be utilized. This is a remote position, must be located in MO or IL.

Role Purpose
The Senior Performance Measures Consultant provides performance measurement and analytical support by utilizing measurement and performance improvement skills to support clinical decision making. This position assists with coordinating the day-to-day operations of the quality team and produces actionable reports to identify opportunities for targeted, scalable interventions. This position also serves as the expert in Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) and regulatory quality measures. The Senior Performance Measures Consultant evaluates, recommends, and monitors the implementation of best practice processes that focus on keeping our patients healthy, improve patient outcomes, and maintain a high quality of care. Additionally, this position provides subject matter expertise, training and on-boarding support, and issue escalation support for team members.
Responsibilities
+ Collects and analyzes provider quality performance data to identify trends and patterns in gaps of care; identifies and tracks the body of work that needs to be performed weekly to support quality reporting.
+ Assists leaders and teams in establishing performance standards and metrics; identifies goals while ensuring that partnerships exist with other areas of the business; develops, implements, or refines workflows or data collection and management methods to ensure accurate measurement and tracking of process and improvement results.
+ Supports effective medical record capture for HEDIS and quality measure medical record review and abstraction of supplemental data.
+ Maintains strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements that impact the organization (e.g., MACRA, MIPS, eCQM, etc.)
+ Assists co-workers and management by providing guidance to the quality team; provides subject matter expertise for peers, assists with training of performance and customer service standards, and assists with process or technology issue escalation.
