Salary Range: 10.35 USD HOURLY

Overview:

The Beer Garden Bartender at the Cooperstown All Star Village/Bullpen provides service to take orders for beverages and ensuring that patrons have a pleasant experience.

Responsibilities:

+ Greets customers as they are at the bar; ensures the area is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided as needed.

+ Answers questions regarding the menu and bar

+ Delivers beverages, and other requested items to customers.

+ Maintain beer garden area. Clean and pick up trash as needed.

+ Collects empty cans after customers finish their drinks.

+ Prepares customers’ checks and collects payments.

+ Put up umbrellas and put out chairs daily before morning shifts and put them away at night.

+ Restock bar area and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.

+ Must successfully complete restaurant training course.

+ Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

+ Ability to multitask.

+ Well-organized with ability to take and place beverage orders accurately.

+ Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.

Preferred:

+ Previous experience as a bartender preferred.

Physical Requirements:

+ Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

+ Must be able to lift, balance, and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
