    Job Description:

    Position will work with collaborators on analyzing imaging and behavioral data from the BrainHealth Project.

     

    The BrainHealth Project is a landmark study that seeks to enroll, assess, and provide brain health training protocols (sleep, stress, brain strategies etc proven to increase cognitive, social, and/or well being) for 120,000 participants with annual assessments on a validated Brain Health Index for 10 years or more. The Project will also perform comprehensive brain imaging ( MRI , fMRI, DTI , and others) with a goal of 12,000 participants. The BrainHealth Project offers research opportunities from a rich and voluminous database, including structural and functional imaging scans, as well as online assessments, neuropsychological tests and questionnaires that measure multiple dimensions of brain health. Sequences include MPRAGE , DTI (44 and 47 directions), BOLD -fMRI (including resting-state, button-press task, and breath-hold), and pCASL.

     

    All participants are offered an online Brain Health Index assessment along with remote quarterly personal coaching with advice on which elements to access of a comprehensive web-delivered brain health intervention suite, in order to improve function in target areas of brain health. Unlike other longitudinal studies, the BrainHealth Project seeks to discover, predict and intercept problems as early as possible to test the potential for upward improvement starting in early adulthood through late life rather than a static diagnostic marker.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Ph.D in a related field.

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    Preferred experiences include research in cognitive neuroscience, human functional brain imaging, psychology, neurology, psychiatry, machine learning, data visualization, and data integration methods across disparate data streams.
