Job Description
Maytag Aircraft has won a contract for for aircraft & ground fuel services, storage and distribution at DFSP Norfolk, Virgina. Contract start date is July 1, 2025.
Control Center Internal Pipeline Controller
CCIPC’s must be responsible for monitoring and performing remote operations to pipelines, recognizing abnormal conditions, and taking proper actions to provide a resolution. The position provides the first line of response by accepting and directing calls and notifying customers of emergency conditions. The CCIPC’s communicates and collaborates with employees and customers at multi-levels, as required. Performs remote operations by starting and shutting down pumps, opening and closing valves, and setting flow rates. Recognize emergency conditions when they arise and be able to take proper actions to prevent or minimize damage to property or any personnel affected, by providing a timely, and accurate solution. Maintains logs, records, and reports related to the pipeline operations, and emergency situations during shift, answers operating questions, advises supervisor of changes from normal conditions, monitors weather conditions, and notifies management of emergencies.
Must comply with DoD, Federal, Navy, State, and Local References and Laws identified in Appendix C and as set forth by the Department of Transportation.
Experience must include pipeline operator, technician, at a deep-water bulk fuel terminal with direct oversight of pipeline management responsibilities for the entire terminal.
Minimum 2 years of field pipeline operation at any facility, refinery, or similar process petroleum operations experience preferred (e.g., FDSO, FDSM).
